Countries that lies in both Hemispheres of North and South 

There are 13 countries in world that lies in both North and South Hemispheres. In other words these countries are intersected by Equator. These countries from East to West are – 1) Kiribati, 2) Indonesia, 3) Maldives, 4) Somalia, 5) Kenya, 6) Uganda, 7) Democratic Republic of Congo, 8) Congo, 9) Gabon, 10) Sao Tome and Principe, 11) Brazil, 12) Columbia and 13) Ecuador.

 

Countries that lies in both Hemispheres of East and West

There are eight countries that are intersected by Prime Meridian and hence they lie in both East and West Hemispheres. These countries are – United Kingdom, France, Spain, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali and Togo.

Intersected by International Date Line (180 Degree Meridian) – there are four countries that are intersected by International Date Line. These are – Fiji, Kiribati, Russia and USA.

 

Country that lies in all four Hemispheres

Kiribati is the only one country of world that lies in all four hemispheres – East, West, North and South.

    You forgot Ecuatorial Guinea in the list of countries located in both the northern and the southern hemispheres. Factor in its island called Annobon.
    Plus, if we include UK and France dependent territories, then these two countries will qualify too.

    France is in all four hemispheres – it has a number of overseas territories that are integral parts of the country, with equal status to Metropolitan France. Reunion is in the Southern Hemisphere; because it is an integral part of France, it is also part of the EU and the Eurozone.
