- His full name was Pamulapati Venkat Narsimha Rao.
- He was lawyer by profession and gradated from Osmania University
- P V Narsimha Rao was the first Prime Minister of non hindi speaking south Indian state.
- P V Narsimha Rao was the first Prime Minister projected from congress who was outside of Nehru-Gandhi family.
- P V Narsimha Rao along with his cousin were the editors of a weekly telugu magazine Kakatiya Patrika in 40s under the pen-name Jaya-Vijaya.
- Despite of Telugu tongue, he was very fluent and eminent speaker of Marathi and used to address Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan quite often.
